This is a virtual Public Meeting for the proposed 243-245 Dorchester Street project located in the South Boston neighborhood of Boston. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the Small Project Review Application that was filed and its potential impacts. The meeting will include a presentation by the developer followed by questions and comments from the public.

The Proposed Project is a new five-story mixed-use building that will contain twenty dwelling units intended to be condominium units for sale, with six accessory off-street garage parking spaces, in light of the site’s close proximity to Red Line rapid transit, as well as ground floor commercial space. The residential units are planned to be smaller in size, thus providing a more naturally affordable homeownership opportunity for first-time buyers looking for an alternative to renting.
